A little outside my usual subject matter, this very special piece was drawn as a gift for my dad's 60th birthday. A keen motorcycle fan, this particular beast has been my dad's preferred ride for years now, and gone on all sorts of adventures throughout Australia with him.

While I live too far away to go on rides with my dad these days, I really enjoyed capturing this beautiful machine. The amazing paintwork that can look many different shades of purple, blue, and even black depending on the lighting was a fun challenge to capture, as were the bright, almost white reflections off the shiny surface of the bodywork.
